Drinkwater deserved his call up, and Ali and Dier deserve their places too.

Henderson is the one who I would have given the chop for.....someone better.

There must be someone who can fill in.

Klopp reckons Henderson knee injury doesn't look good.
Luckily Delph played 30secs for Man City at PSG & Wilshere is playing an U21 game on Friday so Roy has everything under control.

Liverpool stifled them but Dortmund very flat tonight.
Hopefully will be better when Liverpool try and attack them a bit more at Anfield & there is a halfway decent ref.

Liverpool have committed foul after foul all game and been totally outplayed second half. The ref hasn't stopped them doing it. Can't believe they'll get such a weak ref in the next game.

3.09 If the UEFA Champions League titleholder and the UEFA Europa League titleholder come from the same association and do not qualify for the competition through their domestic championship, one of the following scenarios
applies:
a. If the association is entitled to four places in the competition and both titleholders qualify for the UEFA Europa League through their domestic championship, the lowest-placed of the association’s UEFA Champions League representatives is automatically transferred to the UEFA Europa League (into
the UEFA Europa League group stage where a vacancy is created). In this case, the association of the titleholders is entitled to one additional place (total of five) in the UEFA Champions League, but the combined number of places to
which it is entitled in the two competitions does not change.

b. The question I have is does Man City's place in Europa League(via the League Cup) count as qualifying via the "national championship"?

Dortmunds passing has been pretty laboured. Nowhere near as good as they were against the Yids.
Maybe my bias but the ref has been keen to give some pretty soft Scouse freekicks. Chance at the end came because the Liverpool defender pushed the bloke over & then stood on his head.
Dortmund keeper booked for pointing out the refs lack of attention.

This game started interesting but it's been a bit scrappy.
The more I see Klopp and his antics on the touchline, the more I dislike his persona.

If we finish 4th, the only way we'd not get into the CL is if Liverpool win the europa and Man City win the CL.
